On Thursday, Oct. 29th, a book review will be due at the beginning of class.  Books genres will be assigned and selected on in preparation for this review and an instructional sheet will be given to all students.  This assignment will be worth 200 points.  Period 2 will read a science fiction or fantasy.  Period 3 will read a book of the student's own choice.  Period 4 will read a classic. Period 5 will read a biography or autobiography, and Period 6 will read a non-fiction book.  All of these books should be selected from our junior high library.  Book reviews must be written in dark blue or black ink or typed.  If pencil-written papers are handed in, they will be returned.  I am following the Modern Language Association guidelines for high school students.
